Changes to accessing patients’ cancer medication information

Pharmacy teams who care for patients being treated for cancer, please note this important message from Alberta Health Services as Connect Care is implemented throughout CancerCare Alberta:

To access the most current information about a patient’s outpatient cancer medications, please go to the 'Oncology Consults" section found within Netcare. As AHS upgrades our computer applications, information about AHS-provided oncology treatments (including adjunct medications) no longer appears in the Pharmacy Information Network (PIN).
